Art + Purpose = Design

I think that design is the perfect synthesis of art and purpose. Being a little Type A, I was never able to just create art - there had to be a reason to make something. Design work seems to suite me perfectly. I've spent the last ten years of my life working as an actor, producer, director, costumer, and more recently a graphic and web designer. I love what I do, and can't imagine doing anything else. (For money, that is. I can imagine doing a lot of ridiculous things for the fun of it!)

This site is designed with usability and simplicity in mind. I've used large images to make samples easy to see, and ignored file size in place of quality of the images. I feel that this was the best decision, since this site functions more as an online portfolio than anything else. Please feel free to contact me with questions or thoughts about this site, as it's in its fourth iteration.
