Why join a Co-op?
The benefits for joining a local
co-op are many and they vary from person to person. Here are
three of Lara's favorite reasons for joining:
- Buying produce at a
co-op saves you money. Because a co-op buys produce
in bulk and there is very little overhead cost involved, the
customers always saves money!
- A local co-op is a
great place to meet other people. At a co-op,
you'll find others people who share your concern for good health
and the environment
- Buying a seasonal
bag of produce encourages your family to have variety in their
diet. Most health experts recommend that you
reach for 5 servings of fruits
and vegetables each day. The co-op can be a tremendous
tool in helping your family get the nutrition they need!

Membership Information
This CO-OP has been created
to provide chemical free, certified organically grown produce at competitive
costs to you. Weekly orders are placed early each Monday morning by High
Country Organics and cannot be cancelled.
Additional produce items
are ordered weekly, based on availability, and a list is e-mailed to members
after produce is ordered for the co-op. These items are sold Farmers Market
style and can be added to your weekly bag. The extra produce is available on a
“first come, first serve” basis.

SCHEDULE AND TERMS

Pick up is
every Friday from 1:00 – 7:00pm.

Cancellation of weekly bag must be
given by noon the Wednesday prior to the Friday pick up. Members
who do not pick up a bag, and do not call two weeks in a row will be taken off the
current members list and no bag will be ordered for them.
